Recipe

Rosewater, Cardamom Water And Saffron Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/3 cups of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of saffron, brewed
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3/4 cup of oil
  • 3/4 cup of a milk
  • 1/5 cup of rose water
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 2 tea spoon of cardamom water
  • A pinch of salt (amount of salt between your thumb and index finger)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
  4. Add the saffron, oil, rosewater and milk mixture, and cardamom water to the eggs mixture and stir well.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, and mix well until the batter is smooth.
  6. Grease a cake pan with some oil, and pour the batter into the pan.
  7. Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool down in the pan for 10 minutes, and then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Once the cake has cooled down, you can decorate it with some rose bud or icing sugar, if desired.

Recipe for Cardamom and Rose water Cake

Ingredients for Cardamom and Rose Cake:

– Flour: 3 cups
– Eggs: 4 pieces
– Sugar: 1.5 cupsss
– Milk: 1/2 cup
– Rosewater: 1/3 cup
– Vegetable oil: 1/2 cup
– Baking powder: 1 tablespoon
– Vanilla: a pinch (literally “the tip of a jam spoon”)
– Cardamom powder: 1 teaspoon

Step 1:

To prepare the delicious cardamom and rosewater cake, first crack the eggs into a suitable bowl, add sugar and cardamom, and mix them together using an electric mixer on high speed for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture becomes thick and pale white in color.

Step 2:

In this step, add milk, rosewater, and cardamom powder to the egg mixture, one at a time, and mix each one for 30 seconds until they are well combined with the other ingredients. Then, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius to ensure it’s well heated.

Step 3:

Now, combine flour and baking powder together in a separate bowl until they are well mixed. Sift the flour mixture twice. Then, add the flour mixture to the egg mixture in the bowl and fold them together gently using a spatula until everything is well combined.

Step 4:

Once the cake batter is completely well-combined and smooth, prepare a cake tin by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with cake release spray. Then, pour the cake batter into the tin and smooth it out using a spatula.

Step 5:

In this step, tap the cake tin firmly on a flat surface a few times to remove any air bubbles in the cake batter. Then, place the tin in the middle rack of the preheated oven and let it bake for approximately 45 minutes.

Step 6:

After 35 minutes, test the cake with a toothpick, and if it’s fully cooked, remove it from the oven. Then, remove the cake from the mold and place it on a wire rack to cool. Finally, cut it into desired slices.
